What can I expect at my photo session?

Expect to have a great time! Please plan on arriving fifteen minutes before your scheduled time, dressed in one of your outfits. Being late will only result in your feeling rushed and having less time spent on your photography session. We will spend a few minutes with you going over your clothing choices. Your session will last approximately one hour and can be scheduled for outdoors and/or indoors.

What do I wear?

The most important aspect of choosing your outfits is that you like them. They should reflect your personality. Casual as well as more formal attire is a good idea. Earth tones are ideal for outdoor portraits. All white is excellent for a special high key effect. Traditional styles are timeless. Busy patterns and loud colors can be very distracting. Large and bold patterns tend to draw attention away from your face. Some poses will show your shoes so it is important to plan for that when selecting an outfit. Many prefer to go barefoot! If you like an outfit, it is probably because you look good in it and it represents your character. Bring approximately three varieties of outfits. A portable outdoor changing booth is available for your convenience during the outdoor portrait sessions.

What else can I bring?

At Imagin8, we strive to bring out the various facets of your personality. To attain this goal, feel free to bring your favorite hat, musical instrument, pet, letter jacket, wheels, uniform, sports equipment, etc. We are inspired to to capture your hobbies, talents, skills and spirit! You are welcome to bring a friend with you if that helps you feel more comfortable. The possibilities are limitless.

Complete uniforms (cheer, band, drill, sports) (Include ALL equipment and shoes), Pet (additional $10), hobby items, "Me" stuff, letter jacket, instruments, brush, makeup, belt, shoes, class ring, jewelry, "wheels."

Final tips

• Simplicity is the key to a successful portrait.
• Coordinate your outfit from head to toe.
• Keep the tonal range of clothing in the same group; don't mix lights and darks in the same outfit.
• Bring several different clothing choices.
• Wear your hair in your regular style. Guys should NOT have a fresh haircut. If you need a trim, have it done about a week before.
• Get a good night's rest.
• Relax and have fun!
